Beautiful in it's simplicity, this involved lighting the gas taps that Bunsen Burners were supposed to be attached to, without the use of the Bunsen Burner.
Result? Incredibly dangerous jets of fire!

You know those crocodile clips you used to get in physics...
we used to compete to see how many you could pin on the back of somebodys jumper before they noticed.
(of course this could be extended further by attaching various wires, fuses and other bits of physics-related paraphernalia!)
